Dior embraces a new world - Annie Leibovitz photographed designer Jonathan Anderson for Vogue
Jonathan William Anderson is a Northern Irish fashion designer and founder of JW Anderson. He is known for his eponymous label and for his work as creative director of the Spanish luxury house Loewe. Since 2025, he has been the creative director of Christian Dior.

After an impressive eleven years, Jonathan Anderson left the Spanish luxury label Loewe in the spring of 2025. During his time there, he transformed the brand into a global trendsetter. Just a few weeks after his departure, his move to Dior was announced.
There, in April 2025, he initially took over the artistic direction of Dior menswear. In June, he took over womenswear and haute couture. He presented his first collection for Spring/Summer 2026 in June 2025. In other words, for the first time since Christian Dior, the label is relying on a single talent: Jonathan Anderson.
