Following a legendary career spanning 24 years, the recently retired tennis champion Roger Federer teamed up with Mercedes to design a one-off model based on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 SE Performance. And how could it possibly be otherwise, he drew inspiration for it from the world of tennis : neon yellow is his color of choice. The automobile is naturally signed by Roger Federer.

With its most powerful model, Mercedes is honoring the Swiss living legend tennis phenom Roger Federer and their fourteen-year successful partnership. Neon Legacy. The one-off is based on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance, the four-door sedan version of the AMG GT, the first-ever plug-in hybrid built by Mercedes sport subsidiary AMG.

At the end of November 2022, the four-door AMG GT was auctioned by Sotheby’s in Munich for a good cause – a public street tennis court in London.
