recom X Preuss und Preuss present global launch campaign with Roger Federer for the new Mercedes-Benz VLE
For the global launch of the new Mercedes-Benz VLE, Preuss und Preuss developed an eye-catching campaign featuring Roger Federer. recom film was responsible for the full CGI production of all vehicles as well as the complete post production – significantly shaping the campaign’s visual quality.
Two icons, one stage: Roger Federer meets the new VLE – a grand limousine redefining space, comfort and technology.
At the heart of the campaign is the interplay between generosity and elegance: seating for up to eight people combined with the driving experience of a limousine. A quality Federer appreciates as a father of four, paired with the calm, effortless presence he is known for both on and off the court. Inside the VLE, everything feels so natural that he even rediscovers his singing and whistling skills.
Technically, the VLE also plays in the top league: over 700 km range, ultra-fast charging, latest MBUX entertainment front and rear, and maximum flexibility in the interior. The campaign translates these strengths into a clear attitude: “Simply outstanding”.
At its core are several TV and online spots directed by James F. Coton, with DOP Ottar Guðnason (production: Soup Film). recom film handled the complete CGI vehicle production and delivered the full post production. Set to a specially composed remix of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, the campaign follows Roger Federer on a playful journey through everyday scenarios.
The launch is rounded off with extensive social media assets as well as print and out-of-home motifs, photographed by Chris Noltekuhlmann – featuring CGI cars and creative retouch by recom.

An icon turns 30! For the Sprinter's anniversary, JONATHAN SCHULE was commissioned by the agency Preuss&Preuss to create the current campaign. In celebration of the 30th birthday, an emoji was developed to appropriately represent and honor the Sprinter in text messages.
"Many thanks to Mercedes-Benz Vans, the creatives at Preuss&Preuss, and my team for the smooth job," says Jonathan Schule, photographer.
The photoshoot took place alongside the film production with the Stuttgart-based production company 5ter Stock. The retouching was handled by PROTOKOLL.Group with Jonas Ellerbrock.

PRINZ PRODUCTIONS produces the MERCEDES-BENZ VANS campaign for Clemens Ascher and the agency Preuss und Preuss
On commission for creative agency Preuss und Preuss, Clemens Ascher staged the new MERCEDES-BENZ VANS in impressive images. This time, it was off to Cape Town, where PRINZ PRODUCTIONS was in charge of production.
PRINZ PRODUCTIONS presents us the campaign here on GoSee. “Clemens Ascher has the ability to create worlds, and with creative direction from Maximillian Stengl, he teamed up with Tim Bushmueller and Sunna Pilz (all from Preuss und Preuss) for this stills production alongside a TVC. Thanks to Schierke and, of course, Mercedes-Benz Vans, we had the opportunity to work with this dynamic team for the 2024 campaign.
Scouting for modern industrial sites along with a few construction sites in Cape Town, we watched the creative team bring worlds to life with what was captured. Working again with the iconic brand Mercedes, the Prinz team took care of everything quickly and efficiently, successfully closing roads and securing permits in a jiffy, making sure this production purred like a diesel engine throughout.
A big thank you to the wonderful city of Cape Town and the incredible crew for proving once again that it is still the best place to shoot!”
