FRITHJOF OHM incl. PRETZSCH shoot Volkswagen Global Brand Lifestyles with DDB Voltage in South Africa
DDB Voltage, together with Frithjof Ohm incl. Pretzsch, created a wide range of Global Brand Lifestyle visuals for Volkswagen. Shot and filmed in South Africa, the campaign presents an authentic visual world that seamlessly unites lifestyle, mobility, and brand identity in a single image.
"Our emotional and authentic Global Brand Lifestyle Images shot for Volkswagen in two different flights over the last season in South Africa. Again a great collaboration with our fellow creatives from DDB Voltage supported by CapeTown Productions and Radical Media Berlin. Beautiful moments captured following the sun light. The work demonstrates how brand communication can be done right – visually powerful, emotionally engaging, collaborative in production, and spatially expansive. Frithjof Ohm incl. Pretzsch succeed in telling a new story of mobility – one that focuses not only on the car itself, but equally on its surroundings, atmosphere, and the people within it.

Together with GoSee member Cape Town Productions, the photo team realized current campaign motifs for VW : "We've been quite busy lately with a lot of work for our client Volkswagen and their creative lead agency, DDB Voltage.
One of these projects, shot in South Africa, was the international campaign for the electric VW ID. family – including the ID.3, ID.4, and ID.7. Once again, we had the pleasure of working with a fantastic team of truly wonderful people across a wide range of beautiful locations. We believe you can really feel that spirit in the images, which were released quite recently."
