news 'Say Cheese!' - Oliver VONBERG c/o DOUBLE T Photographers shoots the ST. MANG campaign

In 1910, the founder of the Mang cheese dairy, Franz Mang, started with the large-scale production of Limburger cheese bars (500 g) according to the recipes passed down by Carl Hirnbein, who came from Germany’s Allgäu region. For his achievements, he was commended in 1913 with an award in ‘honorable recognition for his meritorious service in the field of cheese making.”

“Since 1910, the Mang cheese dairy has been located in the small town of Kammlach in Lower Allgäu and is today the leading manufacturer of red culture cheeses such as Limburger and Romadur. The basic ingredient for all St. Mang cheese specialties comes directly from our region. Real milk sourced from local suppliers under contract from the Allgäu region and the craft of our master cheesemakers with around 100 employees come together each day to craft genuine Allgäu soft-ripened cheese for true cheese connoisseurs.” ST.
