Adidas Campaign with the Norwegian International team
Team Norway Shines in Adidas’ New Olympic Collection, and I am delighted to be part of this campaign and make the photo shoot for Adidas. The new Olympic collection is designed for the Norwegian team for the World Athletics Championships, Tokyo 2025. I made an Adidas Photo Shoot with the Norwegian international team in Oslo in Norsk Friidrett Studio. More photos here
About the Adidas Photo Shoot with the Norwegian International team:
Pre-Production for Adidas Shoot
The Production company told me the photo shoot will be in Askøy, Norway, with x7 members of the national track & field team. Athletes will arrive in kit, no wardrobe or HMU needed. But later they changed the plan to shoot in Oslo.
The Concept
To showcase the landscape-inspired Norway kits, I photographed key athletes in a studio set styled with clean colors that evoke the icy archipelago setting.
The backdrop was clean, white colourama lit with diffused, light blue tinted lighting. I used blue gels to light the backdrop separately and achieve a blue-to-white gradient and textures (reminiscent of Norway’s rich natural beauty) that enable kit colours to stand out vividly.
The creative agency was responsible for the post-production, which is why
To enhance a sense of motion and draw parallels with the vibrations of sound, they wanted to introduce blurs into the imagery that would add dynamism to the athletes’ poses. But in the end, they liked my photos as it was and they did not add anything.
The art director wanted to use a hazer or fog machine on set to slightly fill the space with fine mist that would soften lighting glows akin to the Northern Lights, making images feel as if captured in arctic temperatures. But also thy did not use it. If you are shooting indoors and planning to use a haze machine, you need to be sure there is no fire detector; otherwise, they will start to react to the haze.

Cover photo shoot with Daniel Brühl by Ed Mehravaran
I am delighted to post my Cover photo shoot with Daniel Brühl for L’Officiel Hommes Austria. With 25 years of experience in photography, I had a chance of working with so many topics and subjects, professional models, Amateur people to high professional talents.
Every project bringing own challenges, but my photo shoot with Daniel Brühl was so special for me. Daniel Brühl, known for his great performances in films like Rush, Inglourious Basterds, Good Bye Lenin!, Becoming karl Lagerfeld and the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Zemo, brings an intensity and depth to his roles that captivates audiences.
For me, this project was more than a photo shoot, it was an exploration into the art of capturing presence and personality. In this post, I want to thank all the team members and magazine editor and share the story and behind-the-scenes of this photo shoot.
