German actor and musician Moritz Jahn, born in 1995, gained fame as Karol in the children’s crime series ‘The Peppercorns’, to which he contributed by playing the lead role from 2007 to 2009. In the German Netflix series Dark (2017–2020), Jahn plays the role of the teen Magnus Nielsen.
Marcus Höhn photographed the actor for independent Berlin-based OE magazine with grooming by Felix STÖSSER c/o BASICS.BERLIN. Serving as the location was the Italian restaurant To The Bone, Berlin.
The Editor of OE Magazine is Arne Eberle, who is known thanks to his fashion PR office Arne Eberle press+sales as well as the Berlin Showroom curated by him.
DARK – In a normal small town in Germany, two children suddenly disappear. During the investigation, it becomes clearer and clearer that hidden behind the idyllic petit-bourgeois facade of the town lies an unimaginable abyss.
OE Magazine on the reason for the shoot : “Although acting is his calling, Moritz has also been revealing his musical capabilities. What was once only a passion project has become a definitive part of his career – on the 1st of April this year, his new album Soliloquy was released and followed by a German tour that kicked off at Monarch, Kottbusser Tor. The pop album released on Frische Luft Music includes twelve bouncy tracks that jump back and forth between English and German. Following his album tour and awaited vinyl release of Soliloquy, we caught up with Moritz Jahn over a cocktail on Rosenthaler Platz.”

Under the name of e-208, PEUGEOT offers a fully electric variant of the compact car launched in 2019. The PEUGEOT 208 demonstrates its youthful character with a sporty silhouette and an interior equipped with the brand new PEUGEOT 3D i-Cockpit®. The four-door electric vehicle is definitely at home in the city, so it was only natural to stage the small car downtown – according to WE! shoot it, Michael Compensis and Thomas von Salomon, c/o KELLY KELLERHOFF. Their stage for it all was the Frankfurt banking district, which exudes ideal international flair in locations only a short distance from one another right in the middle of Germany.
In front of the lens of the two transportation pros alongside the French compact car was model Emmanuela Jessey from EAST WEST MODELS with Pudel Alma. Spot-on styling from the hand of Jeanine Fettig spruced up the spread fashion-wise. Hair & make-up came from Melli Horn.
With plenty of sensitivity, not only in post, the look & feel of the stills, but also in grading of the moving image extras, Grit Hackenberg put on the final touches of the spread.
