A specific department for women’s soccer was created at FC Bayern in 1970. Since July 2022, Norwegian Alexander Straus has been Head Coach of the FC Bayern Munich women’s soccer team.

FC Bayern has extended the partnership between its women’s soccer department and AUDI until 2025. This includes providing the squad with official cars. Plus, both parties reaffirm their commitment to promoting the development of women’s soccer in Germany in the future.
