Style-defining porcelain between traditional and modern – elegantly photographed by STUDIO LIKENESS c/o KLAUS STIEGEMEYER for KPM BERLIN

STUDIO LIKENESS photographed classics and new products for KPM, royal and classical or with puristic Bauhaus elegance. The new spice rack is an example of how KPM Head Designer Thomas Wenzel is expanding the LAB universe with yet another all-rounder. The spice rack made of high-quality natural wood is organized into five spice compartments whose material contrast of fine glass and robust, smoothly glazed porcelain provide a stylish stage for herbs and spices.

The URBINO Multicolore espresso sets are guaranteed to set new trends on every coffee table. The handmade and hand-painted animal figures bring a touch of nature into the home.

For 250 years, KPM Berlin (Royal Porcelain Factory) has been considered one of the most important and exclusive companies for the manufacture of finest-quality porcelain. KPM Berlin was founded in 1763 by King Frederick II of Prussia (known as Frederick the Great).

We compose and capture visual stories. Studio Likeness, that’s Julia Classen and Magdalena Lepka – a creative duo working on unique concepts for still life photos and videos. Since 2013, they have been working together in their Berlin studio, exploring ways to challenge our perception and questioning photography’s claim to reality. By reflecting each others view, they soon developed their very own visual language, crossing boundaries between photography and illustration in a surreal and surprising way. Their collective skill set spans photo illustration, art direction, set design and photography.
