“For Hennessy Cognac, I visited Julien Colombier while he was working in his studio. Julien painted a picture over the course of three days which was later used for the packaging design of VSOP Hennessy Cognac. I had the pleasure of watching Julien painting and photographing during these three days.

Always a bit difficult because you are very close together in a small space with someone who is not necessarily used to it. You try to get in the way as little as possible, watch what’s going on, and then you have to have perfect timing to take the photo you’ve been waiting for before the moment is gone. It takes time, the trust of the artist and, of course, the client.

I enjoy commissions like these that are less hectic, take place peacefully and still require the utmost concentration and attention to capture the mood, the work method and personality of the artist.” Götz GÖPPERT c/o ANDREA HEBERGER…

Julian Zigerli presented his collection created in collaboration with Swiss artist Katja Schenker. The show with the title ‘ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORLI’ featured an opening performance by Katja Schenker in a concrete dress, followed by 51 looks, marked by Julian Zigerli’s signature melange of humor and everyday clothing.
