Offf sees itself as an ‘International Festival for Post-Digital Creation Culture.’ In 2001, the Offf Festival was held in Barcelona for the first time under the name of Online Flash Film Festival. Since that time, it has taken place once each year, usually in the month of May. Over the course of three days, international artists present works in the areas of graphic design, visual communication, digital art, electronic music and moving images. One main aspect of the festival is that it is a place for artists from around the world to come together to work creatively and experiment while discussing the newest trends in the digital world…

Something to Offend Everyone – the BROOKLYN FILM FESTIVAL 2022 with artwork by FOREAL c/o ANALOG / DIGITAL

FOREAL c/o ANALOG DIGITAL was commissioned by the agency MullenLowe New York to design a number of characters for the Brooklyn Film Festival 2022. Topic : ‘Something to Offend Everyone’ – because the Brooklyn Film Festival is quite proud of never censoring its filmmakers but instead letting them express themselves however they want.

And with more than 140 uncensored films in 2022, it was clear that there would be guaranteed ‘Something to Offend Everyone’ in the showcase. The campaign wants to encourage the audience to leave their comfort zone and show them how to discuss all the new ideas, thoughts and points of views they encounter at the festival as they see fit.
