Bex Day is a Photographer and Director from London. In April 2019, Bex completed her first solo exhibition and film called Hen, which was centred around the older transgender and non-binary communities in the UK, and was featured on BBC Breakfast, Channel 4 News, Vogue Italia, Twin, Vice, i-D, It’s Nice That, Refinery29, Buzzfeed’s ‘Photo Stories That Challenge Your View Of The World’, 10 Magazine, Dazed and Confused, and AnOther Magazine to name a few. In Jan 2020, Bex featured as the cover of Riposte Magazine’s twelfth issue, taken from a series which focused on disability funding cuts in the current political climate. Following on from her work on ‘Hen’, Bex then photographed Diana Thomas for the cover of The Telegraph Magazine in March 2020, celebrating her transition. She has lectured about her work at Nicer Tuesdays (It’s Nice That), Cambridge University, The Hepworth Gallery, and the Vogue Italia ‘The Female Gaze’ 2016 and Masculinity Now 2018 exhibition, as well as displaying some of her work, and was nominated for the Magnum Graduate Award 2016 and the C/O Berlin Talent Award 2020. She was also part of the ‘209 Women’ exhibition at the Houses of Parliament supporting women in parliament.
