‘We Are Munich’ - the traditional HIRMER LANDLUST collection photographed by SACHA TASSILO HÖCHSTETTER

Right on time for the Octoberfest, HIRMER LANDLUST launched its campaign with the claim ‘We Are Munich’, which was photographed by SACHA TASSILO HÖCHSTETTER in downtown Munich. Creative direction was in the hands of Mimi Hoch, with hair & makeup by Sigi Kumpfmüller and styling by Martin Unger.

Playing a particularly special role though in Bavaria are, of course, the traditional costumes – even after the world-famous fest is finished.

Hirmer: “Traditional clothing is our tradition. It’s what connects us to our home, Bavaria and Munich. Naturally, similar to other clothing, it is also a fashion statement with which we express our personality. There are many regions in Germany, and each has its traditional clothing – evolved through history to tell the story of the customs and traditions of the place…”
