Dominik Mentzos. Born in 1964 in Hamburg , studied architecture and then Photo Design in Dortmund. Since 1991 he has worked as a freelance photographer, and in editorial of the advertisement. The WDR Symphony Orchestra of German broadcaster West German Broadcasting looks back on a long tradition of presenting entertainment of the highest musical quality, ranging from classic operetta to film music, which is a special focus of the orchestra, or even easy listening.
Following his work for the WDR Symphony Orchestra in 2022 and 2023, photographer DOMINIK MENTZOS had the great honor of photographing motifs once again for 2024. The WDR Symphony Orchestra regularly performs concerts dedicated to famous works of film music, including pieces by composers John Williams and Hans Zimmer. Musicals are also part of the repertoire. The orchestra is known additionally for its crossover projects at which classical music is combined with modern and popular music genres.
