ADVERTISING ‘The right place for me’ - KAUFLAND campaign with portraits by Daniel Chassein c/o MARKENFILM for Freunde des Hauses

14.03.2024 • Daniel Chassein c/o MARKENFILM photographed the KAUFLAND campaign ‘Hier bin ich richtig’, or ‘the right place for me’. With celebrity support from Jan Josef Liefers, Olaf Schubert, Motsi Mabuse, Enie van de Meiklokjes, and Verona Pooth, Kaufland introduces its new claim. With the campaign, the company emphasizes that shoppers looking for a wide variety to choose from as well as high quality and freshness all at an affordable price have come to exactly the right place at Kaufland while putting the wants and needs of its customers front and center.

The spots were filmed by Markenfilm Hamburg at a Kaufland store in Berlin. Responsible for the campaign was the agency Freunde des Hauses. Following the kick-off with five celebrities in February, the second phase is planned to start this spring. It will be focused on everyday situations in which different people experience why Kaufland is the right place for them.

ADVERTISING ‘Trained in Vegas’ - Hyundai Motor and Jung von Matt Spree choose player’s paradise Vegas to launch the IONIQ 5 Robotaxi. Photos by Jules ESICK c/o MARKENFILM

14.03.2024 • Hyundai Motors and its global digital and creative agency partner, Jung von Matt SPREE, have unveiled a global print, OOH and DOOH campaign with a playful take on its self-driving robotaxi. “Trained in Vegas” hinges on Hyundai Motor’s choice of Las Vegas as the launch location for its IONIQ 5 robotaxi and leans into the city’s wild reputation to underscore its technical capabilities.

The campaign motifs were shot by photographer Jules ESICK c/o MARKENFILM, based in Berlin, and post-produced by RECOM Group Berlin. On-ground support was provided in Las Vegas by Fixer Films.

Shot from the point of view of the robotaxi, the campaign showcases bizarre scenarios on the streets of Vegas; from an Elvis impersonator cruising on a mini-scooter, to an alien on roller skates. Each motif is displayed alongside simple copy, emphasizing that, faced with unexpected situations, the robotaxi is smart enough to react accordingly. The campaign takes a humorous approach in contrast to typical communication on autonomous driving that’s usually filled with technical details and jargon.

ADVERTISING ‘We Make Your Glasses.’ - Christian Werner photographs the FIELMANN OOH campaign for Mother Berlin, with finishing touches put on by ONE HUNDRED BERLIN

12.03.2024 • German optician Fielmann Group AG, headquartered in Hamburg, achieved an impressive market share of 53 percent with its 614 shops in Germany in 2022 and 22 percent in terms of sales.

For the executive agency Mother Berlin, Christian Wernder photographed the latest OOH campaign. Finishing touches were skillfully put on by the post production specialists from ONE HUNDRED BERLIN.

ADVERTISING MICHAEL MUELLER : campaign shoot for Liechtenstein-based bank LLB and Zurich-based agency Hochspannung Kommunikation

12.03.2024 • On commission for Zurich-based agency Hochspannung Kommunikation AG, MARKUS MUELLER photographed eight motifs for the international campaign of universal bank LLB, based in Liechtenstein. It focuses on the various statements of bank customers and their real-world needs.

At the heart of the campaign is “I want a bank that …”, the beginning of a sentence leading to a wide variety of statements made by individual bank customers expressing their actual needs. For which Markus photographed four strong portraits.

Liechtensteinische Landesbank AG (LLB) was founded in 1861 and is the oldest financial institution in the Principality of Liechtenstein. The country holds the majority of shares.

The shoot was produced by Markus’s agency NEUBAUERSCHWARZ and Julia Christl from Lucky You Productions. Responsible for the film was DOP Daniel Goldhahn, with post production by Maxi de Witt.
