'Time Lord' - James Harvey-Kelly photographed the celebrity-studded high-end watch editorial for HTSI magazine in London

The exclusive watch spread, titled 'Time Lord,' was photographed by James Harvey-Kelly for the FT HTSI Magazine (How To Spend It) issue, featuring top male model Max Knott. It's packed with the who's who of London's creative scene.

The editorial, styled by Jo Levin, highlights the diversity of watch enthusiasts, combining luxury timepieces with minimalist, elegant looks.

One of the main characters is Nick Foulkes (full name Nicholas Foulkes). He plays a central role in the photo shoot: he's the author and watch expert who wrote the accompanying cover story for this HTSI special. In his article, he describes the watch enthusiast community as "disparate." This is precisely why the shoot brought together this colorful mix of models, designers, chefs (like Jackson Boxer), and club owners in front of the camera.

He is considered one of the world's leading experts on horology (watchmaking),...

Photographer Norman Konrad was a guest at Katja Thiede's Ping-Pong Salon for Chrismon magazine

When many Ukrainian refugees arrived in Neustrelitz in 2022, Katja Thiede and her husband Christian wanted to create a place for simple encounters. Since sport transcends language barriers, they simply set up two ping-pong tables in their own garden.

Since January 2025, the project has had a permanent home in a former hair salon at Elisabethstraße 33 in Neustrelitz. Professional tables are available in the approximately 100-square-meter space.

Photographer Norman Konrad visited the salon for Chrismon Magazine.

Katja Thiede's ping-pong salon in Neustrelitz is about much more than just sport. It's a place where people who might otherwise never have met come together: young and old, newcomers and locals, engineers, retirees, families, and singles.

What began with two ping-pong tables in their own garden is now a vibrant meeting place in the heart of the city. People play, talk, laugh, play...

World Dachshund Day - Spiegel Magazine celebrates the world's most popular four-legged friend with photos by Alexandra Polina

At the end of October 206 the time has come - the Kunsthalle Bremen opens the exhibition “The Dachshund: An Icon Goes for a Walk”. In the run-up to the opening, World Dachshund Day on June 21st offered owners the perfect opportunity to meet their dachshunds in front of the museum.

Reason enough for photographer Alexandra Polina and Spiegel Magazine to also stop by Bremen.

The resulting series is entitled “World Dachshund Day: When did the stuffy breed become cool?” and highlights the interesting change of the dachshund from the former “bourgeois dog” to a modern lifestyle accessory and social media phenomenon.

For decades in Germany, the dachshund was considered the epitome of bourgeoisie - often associated with bobbleheads on the hat rack right next to the crocheted toilet paper roll cover. But Kaiser Wilhelm II was already an enthusiastic dachshund fan and at the 1972 Olympic Games in...

Clean lines, faded textures, and unexpected colors become part of the visual language. By embedding fashion in these raw urban environments, the images reveal a tension between elegance and ruggedness—transforming concrete, steel, and shadows into perfect sets.
