EDITORIAL 'Soaring Free' - Landscape & Adventure Editorial by Christian Doppelgatz c/o UPFRONT

For his personal project “Soaring Free”, Christian Doppelgatz c/o UPFRONT traveled deep into the vast landscapes of South Africa’s Drakensberg Mountains to capture the feeling of freedom through photography. The result is a series of images full of energy and lightness – from horseback rides across endless grasslands to intimate moments of connection between humans, animals, and nature. Scenes by the crackling campfire round out the series, amplifying the mood of adventure, closeness, and untamed freedom.
Christian Doppelgatz is a lifestyle and advertisement photographer based in Berlin and Cape Town, known for his natural approach to people photography.
