Polycopies is the annual photobook festival that promotes independent publishing - books, multiples, paper objects, and experimental practices.
Meet photographer and artist Eric Asamoah at Polycopies 2025, where he will present his new book, “Here, Nowhere Else.” His book signing will take place on Saturday, November 15, from 5 to 6 pm.
Running parallel to Paris-Photo, from November 12 to 16, Polycopies will transform the ship Concorde-Atlantique into a large, temporary creative gathering dedicated entirely to photography book literature.
The book is published by FOTOHOF, the non-profit gallery and publisher for contemporary artistic photography in Salzburg.
"In 'Here, Nowhere Else,' Eric Asamoah focuses on the boxers of Jamestown, Accra. Boxing appears not only as a sport, but as a metaphor for life itself: for resilience, vulnerability, and the constant struggle for self-determination." FOTOHOF, Publisher and Gallery.

The ZDF documentary series "besseresser goes Schule – Lege packt's an" (Better Eater Goes to School – Lege Tackles It) has just premiered. Tobias SCHULT c/o EMEIS DEUBEL photographed chef and presenter Sebastian Lege for the key visual and press images for his new TV documentary on school lunches for his long-standing client, ZDF.
School lunches in Germany have always had a bad reputation. Food expert Sebastian Lege wants to find out what school cafeterias offer our kids in 2025.
In the factual entertainment series "besseresser goes Schule – Lege packt's an," airing every Wednesday at 7:25 p.m. on ZDF since September 24, 2025, he shows viewers what children eat and are given in schools. He explores whether it tastes good, what's in it, and, of course, discusses alternatives: tasty, healthy, and affordable.
Sebastian Lege is a German chef, television personality, and product developer in the food industry. Since 2019 he has been featured on the YouTube channel ZDF besseresser, and since the end of 2020 in the betteresser-Challenge format produced for YouTube.

On Sunday, October 12, 2025, at midnight, the eighth edition of the La Gacilly-Baden Photo Festival 2025 – Europe's largest photography festival – came to a close:
336,288 visitors / 57 artist talks, workshops, and portfolio reviews / 81 guided art tours / €8.4 million in economic impact / 728 reports in TV, radio, print media, and social media / 1,576 photographs in 38 exhibitions on the theme of Australia & The New World.
AUSTRALIA & THE NEW WORLD – The visual narratives of the world's best photographers once again resulted in a record-breaking attendance for the festival: 336,288 visitors enjoyed photographic art and garden art in the World Heritage city of Baden near Vienna. A spectacular 7km-long open-air gallery in the parks, gardens, and on the facades of buildings transformed the city into a visual oasis for four months.

With the series "WORK – Behind Closed Doors," Wolfram Schroll opens our eyes to a side of the modern working world that remains hidden to most people. His photographs document the reality of industrial work at the beginning of the 21st century with brutal clarity.
They depict production facilities in steel, mechanical engineering, aerospace, automotive, logistics, medicine, and chemistry. Schroll remains true to his documentary approach and shows what is – without sugarcoating it. The images reveal how demanding and complex work in industry is today.
