Between Black Friday and the holidays, gift shopping is in full swing. An alternative is being demonstrated by the initiative of students and trainees at Ledlenser: Following a successful factory sale in September, the team and management decided to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Burgholz Children's and Youth Hospice in Wuppertal. This hospice supports families of terminally ill children, teenagers, and young adults – and relies on donations to do so.

By donating to the Burgholz Children's and Youth Hospice, we are supporting a good cause in the region and can thus conclude the project on an even more positive note," said Kai Milewski, Managing Director of Ledlenser.
"After deciding to donate a portion of our proceeds, we quickly agreed on a recipient. One of our partners for the factory sale, a local food truck, collected donations for the hospice – we thought that was a really wonderful idea!" Naomi Avvenire, a dual-study student at Ledlenser,...

"When your friend and talent extraordinaire @cheyenneellis asks if she can come photograph you in your garden and home you say “Shit yes! Please and thank you!” An honor and a pleasure to be seen by you Cheyenne and the way you capture and interpret the world.
You are a true artist and creative and I will forever treasure these photos and an afternoon well spent in play and friendship." Julie Martin, Florist, Willi Wildflower, Santa Cruz, California.
Julie's grandmother, Willi, for whom her business is named, was a master gardener and instilled in Julie a love of flowers from an early age. Together, they spent the seasons gathering flowers and creating bouquets to decorate their home. Bringing nature indoors became her calling.
Capturing the fleeting beauty of moments and colors and expressing them through the art of floristry quickly developed into a passion. Julie found her niche working on farms and in landscaping, tending the land and creating gardens.

Polycopies is the annual photobook festival that promotes independent publishing - books, multiples, paper objects, and experimental practices.
Meet photographer and artist Eric Asamoah at Polycopies 2025, where he will present his new book, “Here, Nowhere Else.” His book signing will take place on Saturday, November 15, from 5 to 6 pm.
Running parallel to Paris-Photo, from November 12 to 16, Polycopies will transform the ship Concorde-Atlantique into a large, temporary creative gathering dedicated entirely to photography book literature.
The book is published by FOTOHOF, the non-profit gallery and publisher for contemporary artistic photography in Salzburg.
"In 'Here, Nowhere Else,' Eric Asamoah focuses on the boxers of Jamestown, Accra. Boxing appears not only as a sport, but as a metaphor for life itself: for resilience, vulnerability, and the constant struggle for self-determination." FOTOHOF, Publisher and Gallery.
Eric Asamoah, born in 1999 in Linz, Austria, lives and works in Linz, Vienna, and Paris and is represented by SHOTVIEW.

The ZDF documentary series "besseresser goes Schule – Lege packt's an" (Better Eater Goes to School – Lege Tackles It) has just premiered. Tobias SCHULT c/o EMEIS DEUBEL photographed chef and presenter Sebastian Lege for the key visual and press images for his new TV documentary on school lunches for his long-standing client, ZDF.
