Stefan THURMANN c/o JULIA WALDMANN photographed the website, social media, and PR for the catering company CHICKPEACE. The Hamburg-based catering service offers Arabic and African delicacies prepared and delivered by refugee women.
Over time, a cooking class for refugee women evolved into a social business: Chickpeas (chickpeas), Chicks (confident women), and Peace (peace) became Chickpeace. Today, the Chickpeace women from Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Eritrea, and Afghanistan cook and deliver meals for small and large private parties, workshops, and events in the Hamburg area.
