Under the last rays of sun in 2019, photographer Thomas FÄHNRICH embarked on a watery adventure. On a regatta course, he met up with exceptional athlete and Olympic contender Max Hoff, a German canoeist and Olympic champion who started out as a white water kayaker but switched to Olympic canoe racing in 2007. Max Hoff, who grew up in Lohmar, studied Biology at the University of Cologne and is trained by Stephan Stiefenhöfer.
For ORTHOMOL SPORT, Max Hoff is part of the official sport team and already on the meanwhile even longer road to the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games. ORTHOMOL SPORT stands for food supplements for athletes – to support athletic performance, regeneration & resistance.
The 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo will now take place in 2021 – breaking the usual four-year rhythm for the first time as they had to be postponed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The Japanese capital already hosted the Olympics in 1964.
