“Get your taxes done quickly and easily. That’s what you’ll be able to when you work with Klartax – a product of Datev.” In other words : KLARTAX is DATEV’s digital solution that enables private individuals to file their income tax return all by themselves without a consultant.

Filing your tax return with KLARTAX is free by the way. You are only billed a fee of 19,90 per tax year (incl. VAT) upon sending the tax return to the tax office. When transferring a tax return for the first time with KLARTAX, you can provide identification using the Video Ident or eID feature of your German ID card.
DATEV eG, founded on 14 February, 1966, by 65 tax consultants in the Nuremberg chamber district is a software house and IT service provider for tax consultants, accountants and attorneys, but also for their clients such as medium-sized companies, municipalities, associations and institutions. The focus of the cooperative is on the tax market.
