Photographer ANTJE PLEWINSKI c/o NINA RAUTENBERG was commissioned by the agency Pure Perfection PR GmbH to stage SanPellegrino Granita with a fresh new look (food styling: Max Faber c/o Nina Rautenberg).
The invention of Sicilian Granita goes back to the siege of Sicily by the Arabs who brought their recipe for sherbet into the country, an ice-cold drink flavored with fruit juice or rose water. The Sicilians adopted the recipe over time and adapted it to the ingredients available locally, above all the lemons abundant throughout the region.
