“Attention: The anders! IPA from Orca Brau is brewed differently with each batch; the hop varieties vary with each batch so that you can experience the full spectrum of hops over time. The label also changes with each batch, but the name remains the same: anders! (=different!).
Other than that, Orca’s IPA is a modern interpretation of an India Pale Ale in the New England style with barley and wheat malts, fermented with Verdant IPA yeast. The anders! IPA is also a modern take on a New England IPA, always very hoppy, fruity, and fresh,” according to the beer rating from the experts at hier-gibts-bier.de.

The ORCA BRAU brewery was opened in 2017 by Susa and Felix vom Endt. Since then, they have been brewing a wide variety of beers in the north of Nuremberg: “On our own 10hl brewing system, we produce classic traditional varieties such as our Franconian ‘Landbier’ with historical malting barley, modern styles like the Wanderlust Pale Ale, and experimental styles with fruits, spices, various yeasts, malts, hops, and a variety of production methods. We want to show you how diverse and interesting our favorite drink can be.”
And why the name ORCA BRAU, you ask? “At Orca Brau, we are not only committed to brewing outstanding beers but also to protecting the animals after which we are named. Which is why why we support Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) by sponsoring an orca named Uma.”
