‘The Race Is On!’ – The team from 7 MOUNTAINS PRODUCTIONS produced the advertising campaign for the 100th anniversary of clothing company COLMAR in the breathtaking Swiss Alps of Gstaad.
The Italian brand is celebrating its centennial anniversary with a limited edition collection by designer Joshua Vides : A fusion of art and tradition that shines a new light on the rich history of Colmar. The Californian artist combed the Colmar archive to craft the perfect connection between his work and the history of the brand.
“From iconic reversible jackets to the legendary Ceffa Jacquard knit, this capsule collection pays homage to time and design.”
The collection is comprised of ten garments that reflect the brand’s history and expertise. Highlights include two jackets and a reversible down vest. One of the jackets is adorned on the back by the original Colmar logo from 1923 in an artful reinterpretation by Joshua Vides. Also part of the collection is a Jacquard sweater that pays tribute to the iconic Valanga Azzurra jacket from the 1970s. With its subtle mix of cashmere and wool, it revives the tradition and spirit of ski races of yesteryear.

When you think of video and photo productions in the mountains, and particularly the Alps, the problem you encounter is that each mountain is the most beautiful if it happens to be the one you are on. So where to start? Where to base production services that guide you through the four seasons and can even make a season happen?
7 Mountains have a different approach when it comes to the Alps than conventional photo production service companies. After years of doing big city and Caribbean productions, we felt the market’s need for outdoors and sports productions. Preferably from the hands of professionals instead of pure producers. Which is why we developed the Chamonix Mont-Blanc region together with local mountain guides, ski instructors and, to some extent, with local architects and photographers. This vast local knowledge and wisdom of the mountains is combined with production services of the highest quality and standard while keeping a tight grip on locations and safety.
