Luxurious materials merge with unconventional cuts in the ADIDAS ORIGINALS Blue Version collection, with the colorway Bluebird seen throughout. For the launch campaign, ADIDAS ORIGINALS commissioned fashion photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti. Posing for his camera as testimonials were Ukraine native and model, figure skater and multimedia artist, Ganna Bogdan, and musician Jared Lee, aka Duckwrth, an American rapper and songwriter from South Los Angeles, California.
adidas on the campaign : “We’re re-coding our most legendary designs through a fashion lens with the finest premium materials, pursuing our boldest vision yet: an entirely new take on sportswear – with the unmistakable adidas Originals colorway, Bluebird Blue, at the heart of the collection.”
As an ode to the color, the campaign explores the emotive qualities of blue and what it means to the two creative co-stars. TIGHTROPE was commissioned with production of the fashion shoot.
Stefano Pierre Beruschi, Senior Design Director at Originals, says about the collection : “Blue Version is really all about capturing a moment. A culturally significant highlight of our past, which we want to accelerate and put front and center.”
