PlayStation celebrated the global launch of the PS5 console by lighting up iconic buildings and popular sites in 25 territories all around the world. In France, images of the PlayStation design, the PS5 console, and other PlayStation brand imagery were projected onto a building at Place de l’Opéra in Paris.
JPPS Creative Productions were on site with their video team to capture the spectacular projection and its beautiful interaction with the City of Lights. The PlayStation 5 (PS5) is a home video game console developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Announced in 2019 as the successor to the PlayStation 4, the PS5 was released on November 12, 2020, in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, North America, Singapore, and South Korea, and on November 19, 2020, in the rest of the world. The platform launched in two editions: a base model with an Ultra HD Blu-ray-compatible optical disc drive, and a digital version without the drive, as a lower-cost model for customers who prefer to buy games through digital download.
