The idea behind VOLLPENSION in Vienna is easy to explain : Where do you get the best cake? Exactly, from Grandma! Or at Vollpension, public living rooms where you can enjoy a treat or order a Grandma cake to take home. And now, right on time for the holidays, a baking book has been published.
“Our Grandmas and Grandpas not only bake the best cookies and the best cakes, they also have the best stories to tell. In our new Christmas book, they share their 24 favorite recipes for yuletide sweets. Plus, 12 life stories... tales that can only be written by a long life.
Alongside the beautiful Christmas purple GRANDMA2412 book, there is also a strictly limited Christmas Little Rascal Edition in magenta-gold with the original signature of a participating Grandma, including commemoration as a Vollpension Christmas Little Rascal on the Vollpension website for 60 EUR.
The higher price of the limited edition includes a donation toward the survival of Vollpension through the Corona crisis as well as saving the jobs of the best-agers at Vollpension. Particularly now, in times of Corona, when loneliness and isolation pose a great challenge for many, especially for the elderly, Vollpension would like to continue its work in 2021 together so that no one has to grow old alone and so that young and old can come together in the city in many different ways.”
