The brands BARBOUR and BARACUTA from the North of England have created a new collection, for which photographer Matt Moran lensed model and influencer Danny Lomas in Manchester – a city deeply rooted not only geographically but also culturally in the very heart of working-class Britain.
LS PRODUCTIONS was in charge of all production services and location scouting for the fashion shoot.
“The two northern icons of fashion have collaborated on a second menswear collection, celebrating durable fabrics and the resilient northern spirit that they embody. Both deeply rooted in the North of England, Barbour and Baracuta share an unwavering commitment to supporting the hardworking people who call it home.” LS PRODUCTIONS.
Following the resounding success of their first collaboration in Fall/Winter 2023, the new Fall/Winter 2024 collection builds upon this celebrated partnership with an extensive range of outerwear, clothing, and accessories, bringing together the unique DNA of both brands while paying tribute to the northern British subculture which has long embraced these iconic labels.
“This second collaboration is an ode to the northern British subcultural movements that have shaped fashion enduringly from the 1950s to the present day. The iconic G9 Harrington jacket from Baracuta, synonymous with youth culture, style, and music, is at the heart of the collection and has been reinterpreted alongside Barbour’s legendary outerwear.” – BARACUTA.
