Monica Menez : Little Drop Of Poison - theatrical - romantic GOLDKNOPF COUTURE S/S 2012, editorials for GZ LIVE jewellery magazine
The fashion photographer produced the cover of and two editorials in GZ LIVE jewellery magazine (issue 10/2011).
Once again, she photographed the campaign for the GOLDKNOPF COUTURE S/S 2012 label, this time the concept was 'A Little Drop of Poison'.
The label by Friedemann Vogel, first soloist of the Stuttgart ballet and freshly awarded 'Dancer of the year' and the former dancer Thomas Lempertz was created in 2007. They design 1950s style cocktail dresses with ribbons, 1920s-inspired fringed skirts and glamorous glitter accessories in their atelier in Stuttgart.
By using glamorous cuts and a hint of drama, they try to recreate and conjure the atmosphere of ballet and theatre stages in the minds of their customers. Monica Menez completes the picture with her visual language and elaborate sets.
