NEW : Monica Menez; beauty and fashion photographer, Stuttgart; editorials for BLINK and MEISSEN JOAILLERIE MAGAZINE, fashion film for WILLEMS WONDERGLASSES
Monica MENEZ is a new entry at GoSee. She has managed to perfect the splits between fashion photography and art. Monica realises freelance projects, editorials and even commissioned work in her very own aesthetic and unique style.
An example of which can be admired in Korean BLINK MAGAZINE, which features her ‘Torture’ series, a bondage game with cacti, gags and devices. One should point out not only the sensual-photographic production but also the model’s courage to pose both without complaining and maintaining the glam factor that was needed.
The new MEISSEN magazine delivers a world full of beauty, developed by the Untitled publishers. The worldwide porcelain brand seeks to emphasise their goal of becoming an internationally leading jewellery brand with MEISSEN JOAILLERIE. On a hundred pages, you can find shoots, interesting factory reports and interviews. It is released in three languages, German, English and Italian and sports an edition of 40,000 copies.
Given that a sense of art and artistic skill is MEISSEN's prime objective, they commissioned Monica Menez with a fashion and jewellery shoot. The magazine’s editor-in-chief Sigrid Jürgens was joined on-set by art director Hanna Tembrink.
The photographer from Stuttgart not only loves unusual photography but also dabbles in direction as of late. She produced the ‘Precious’ short film for the autumn collection of WILLEMS WONDERGLASSES – spot and campaign are both available on GoSee FILM.
