YIS KID c/o SHOTVIEW met up with Spanish singer, songwriter and producer Rosalía for a shoot in LA. Known for his playful take on the surreal, the photographer employs extraordinary perspectives and compositions to turn the ordinary into art. Rosalía was thrilled to engage with his creative vision – the result of which is an impressive cover story that we are delighted to present here on GoSee.
Rosalía, the winner of two Grammys and twelve Latin Grammys, leaped to the top of the global pop music echelon fueled by her musical fusions and unparalleled style. Her groundbreaking album ‘El Mal Querer’ has been described as “a modern masterpiece that resonated like a shockwave”, blending flamenco with various other Spanish music styles, along with her distinctive vocals, themes of female empowerment, fashion, and choreography. In the fall of 2022, she launched her MOTOMAMI WORLD TOUR as a live performer, with 46 shows across 15 countries.
