Star skier Anna Veith presents the new CALZEDONIA collection in Vienna – with styling by Florian OPPITZ c/o MAKING OF
Lensed by photographer Amina Marazzi Gandolfi amid the chic ambiance of Hotel Josefine in Vienna was the new and very glamorous CALZEDONIA collection. In front of her camera, she had beautiful star skier Anna Veith. The former alpine ski racer has been the testimonial of the Italian label now for the second year. This time, presenting glamour looks such as tights embroidered with pearls or glittery party pants for a night out. As the face of the brand, she embodies both its elegance and sporty flair.
For styling, Florian OPPITZ c/o MAKING OF was on set in Vienna’s hip 6th district, where the trendy hotel is located.
“Even before I was asked to become the brand ambassador of Calzedonia, I was an avid customer. I simply like the way Calzedonia comes up with such special pieces time and again for a wide variety of occasions and looks. The products from Calzedonia underscore the extremely expressive feminine side of me. And slipping into fancy party outfits like these is totally my thing,” says Anna Veith.
Anna Veith, whose maiden name is Fenninger, competed in all alpine disciplines and was a member of the Austrian national team of the Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV) from 2008 to 2020. Among her greatest victories are winning the overall World Cup in the seasons 2013/14 and 2014/15, winning the Super-G at the Winter Olympics of 2014, as well as three World Championship titles. Since her marriage to former snowboarder Manuel Veith in April, 2016, she has taken his last name.
The 49 rooms of Hotel Josefine are divided into seven categories. And awaiting guests in the basement is the Barfly’s Club with some of the best bartenders in town. Velvet-covered bar stools and sofas, walls of green marble, mirrors and brass, … the perfect place to stop and stay for a while –with or without a camera. By the way : Josefine really existed ! Josephine de Bourblanc was the name of the young aristocrat who, fleeing the Russian Revolution, found a home in this small Viennese hotel.
