‘DEVA CASSEL LA PROMESSE’ – DIOR Special with Deva Cassel, staged by ESTHER HAASE for MADAME FIGARO
ESTHER HAASE photographed a DIOR Special for MADAME FIGARO with Deva Cassel, the daughter of Italian actress Monica Bellucci and French actor Vincent Cassel. She perfectly choreographed the model and fashion for the cover spread of the French magazine.
The styling of ‘DEVA CASSEL LA PROMESSE’ – a blend of classic Paris glamour with a rock 'n' roll twist – was in the hands of Barbara Baumel who, during her twelve-year career as Fashion Editor at Vogue, has already worked with the likes of Guy Bourdin or Helmut Newton.
Deva Cassel followed in the footsteps of her mother. After all, Monica Bellucci, too, began her career as a model. The daughter, conversely, made her debut already at the age of fourteen and signed her first contract with Dolce & Gabbana. At 16, Deva adorned the cover of French ELLE magazine, which also named her the new muse of Italian fashion, and she is the youngest Cartier brand ambassador.
Esther Haase has been working for international and renowned magazines for many years. The photographer playfully glides between the genres of fashion, portrait, reportage, and personal art projects.

About ESTHER HAASE
Born 1966 in Bremen, Germany.
As the daughter of an artist and a photography and design professor, Esther grew up surrounded by the world of photography.
After professional training in modern dance Esther spent two years on-stage before studying graphic design with a focus on photography.
Since 1993 she has been dancing around the world with her camera and head full of creative visions. International commercial and editorial clients, exhibitions and published books including ‘Sexy Book’ and ‘Short Stories’ have all contributed to her growing success.
Esther lives in Hamburg and London with her two children.
