Bastian THIERRY c/o BIRD photographed Canadian actor Théodore Pellerin for BEHIND THE BLINDS, who stars in the series ‘Becoming Karl Lagerfeld’ alongside Daniel Brühl. Styling came from Santi Rodriguez.
The series depicts Karl Lagerfel’s rise amid the Paris haute couture scene in the 1970s, and Théodore plays the young dandy Jacques de Bascher, who was Lagerfeld’s spouse from 1972 until his death and also Yves Saint Laurent’s lover at times.
“Théo made this shoot an absolute breeze, and I was thrilled to discover he was game for anything – whether it was shaving his hair for us or doing pirouettes in one of Neukölln’s non-place-like shopping malls on one of the coldest days of the year,” Bastian Thiery tells us.
