For MADAME FIGARO, fashion photographer ESTHER HAASE met up with Melanie Laurent for a fashion shoot. Styling was taken care of by Veronique Tristram (hair: Rudy Marmet, makeup: Jolanta Cedro).
Melanie Laurent is a French film actress, screenwriter, pianist and singer. She gained international fame through her role in the film Inglourious Basterds. Melanie recently appeared in the American crime comedy Murder Mystery 2 from the year 2023 alongside Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston as well as in the film Tempête by director Christian Duguay, about whom she speaks in an interview with the magazine.

About ESTHER HAASE
Born 1966 in Bremen, Germany.
As the daughter of an artist and a photography and design professor, Esther grew up surrounded by the world of photography.
After professional training in modern dance Esther spent two years on-stage before studying graphic design with a focus on photography.
Since 1993 she has been dancing around the world with her camera and head full of creative visions. International commercial and editorial clients, exhibitions and published books including ‘Sexy Book’ and ‘Short Stories’ have all contributed to her growing success.
Esther lives in Hamburg and London with her two children.
