Yann WEBER c/o SHOTVIEW photographed Dutch-Iranian singer, song-writer, dancer and producer Sevdaliza, whose real name is Sevda Alizadeh, for the French magazine ANTIDOTE.
“He stole me from heaven, not knowing I would rebel against domestication. He kept my wings as punishment, so now I’m roaming around this dreadful human experience.” Sevdaliza.
Sevda Alizadeh comes from an artistic family with whom she flew together from Teheran to Rotterdam in 1991. In her mid twenties, Sevda began to delve into music production and multimedia projects. Her debut album ‘ISON’ was released on 26 April, 2017, and features influences from the genres trip hop, experimental pop, R&B, electronic as well as traditional Persian music.
