‘Born in the USA’ – Kid’s fashion editorial with vintage resale styles photographed by LISE ANNE MARSAL for French SWEET MAGAZINE
Late summer is just around the corner, and fashion & kids photographer LISE ANNE MARSAL captured the summer vibe for us just outside of Paris. The title of the spread ‘Born in the USA’ certainly also has something to do with Lise’s American roots. The motifs were created in cooperation with Virginie Fauconnier, stylist and very busy but also very happy mom as well as the publisher of SWEET MAGAZINE.
What makes this shoot special and such an important contribution to sustainability: Almost only second-hand vintage styles were used for the fashion shoot. Particularly children grow so fast that they are always in need of cool styles that fit well, which don’t necessarily have to always be in season. One exciting resale fashion platform is KIDSOCLOCK, which offers second-hand children’s fashion for kids of every age. Also used was handmade wool clothing from Misha & Puff in Peru.
Posing in front of the camera were kids models Shanelle, Leandre, Tiago and Ely. The location was the Villages Nature resort, and post of the photos was taken care of once again by Almedin Kramo.
