‘Denim Girls’ by Ashley FRANGIE c/o ALYSSA PIZER MGMT

Ashley FRANGIE c/o ALYSSA PIZER MGMT presents us her denim-inspired lifestyle spread here on GoSee which was photographed under the California sun.

Ashley Frangie is a 30-year-old Mexican photographer born in Guadalajara, Jalisco. She inherited her creativity from her mother, with whom she used to paint and make sculptures as a child. In 2013, she graduated from the Brooks Institute of Photography in Fine Art of Photography. While attending the Brooks Institute, she joined the f-11 and, once graduated, moved to New York where she worked for Kenneth Willardt for two years.

Ashley describes herself as a person with a nomadic heart; she has lived in several different cities and now lives in Los Angeles. She is passionate about photographing hands, and she is a great admirer of photographers Deborah Turbeville and Francesca Woodman. Her first solo exhibition entitled ‘Las horas que me tomo’ took place at Casa Paraíso in 2015, and Ashley has since put on several exhibitions in different cities throughout the United States, Mexico and Germany. Today, she works for brands such as Nylon, Vogue, Elle, Tommy Hilfiger, Givency, Cream magazine, L’Officiel, Lancome, Tiffany, YSL, Ben and Frank, Sony, and Desigual.

About ALYSSA PIZER MANAGEMENT
Alyssa Pizer Management is a boutique photography agency representing photographers specializing in fashion, lifestlyle, kids, sports, travel, still life and lifestyle photographers. I went to college at UCLA, where I majored in Communications and minored in Economics. I have always loved fashion. I worked at Contempo Casuals (remember them?), which led to winning “Best Dressed” in high school. I suppose that was more of a sign of things to come than that Econ minor.

After college, I sold piece goods downtown in the garment district for seven years. Then, I started looking for a change. A good friend of mine, Donna Scoggins, who was a model and actress at the time, introduced me to my first photographer, Scott Orazem. From there, I started to take on more photographers and – voila! – here I am today. I have developed my niche market of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle photographers. In addition to seeking out only the most talented photographers, I also try to only represent the nice ones. I currently live in Los Angeles with the love of my life, my daughter Sydney (and my husband, too).
