Hairstylist Olivier SCHAWALDER c/o les ARTISTS by Josef Stockinger flexed his skills once again in the 9th issue of BEAUTY PAPERS MAG. It was photographed by Paul Kooiker, who studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague and at the Rijksakademie van Beeldene Kunsten in Amsterdam. In 1996, he received the Award of Rome and in 2009, the A. Roland Holst Award for his creative oeuvre.
Swiss native Olivier SCHAWALDER works as an international hairstylist from his base in Paris. What marble is for the sculptor, well, that’s what hair means to Olivier. Always at the cutting edge of technology, his hair creations are sought-after all over the world. He lived in Tokyo for many years where he perfected his signature style. To this day, his looks are still marked by Japanese aesthetics and sophistication.
