The Penguin Lessons is a 2024 comedy-drama film directed by Peter Cattaneo and starring Steve Coogan and Jonathan Pryce. The film premiered on September 6, 2024, at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival. The posters were photographed by Charlie GRAY c/o LGA MANAGEMENT.
Lead actor Tom, aka actor Steve Coogan, meets a young penguin. The penguin desperately needs help – and so begins a bittersweet and unique friendship. All this takes place against the backdrop of the military coup of the Argentine military dictatorship in Argentina in the 1970s.
Author Tom Michell lives in Cornwall, England. He wrote "The Penguin Lessons" at the tender age of 64. This is his first book and is based on a true story.
