10.06.2024 • Doing good is and always has been at the core of C&A’s purpose. With a clear objective : We aim to contribute to a better world by supporting good causes, while doing what is right – not only in C&A’s own operations but also along the company’s supply chain.

Which is why C&A is constantly exploring new ways of supporting social suppliers – like Rangsutra – to scale their production and, by doing so, increase their impact to improve livelihoods for people in disadvantaged situations.

Rangsutra : A social enterprise in India fights for gender equity. As most garment workers are women, C&A aims to support equal rights along the supply chain. Which is why we decided to partner with a social supplier who focuses on women’s empowerment.

EVENTS Festival La Gacilly-Baden Photo ‘WELT.NATUR.ERBE’ - For the seventh time, EDITION LAMMERHUBER is bringing Europe’s biggest outdoor photography festival to Baden near Vienna

31.05.2024 • WORLD.NATURAL.HERITAGE is taking place from 13 June to 13 October 2024 and is dedicated to the works of the great masters of environmental photography. Emotional and fascinating images on fundamental issues such as urbanization, biodiversity, natural resources, pollution and global warming will provide food for thought on how to preserve the poetry of creation for humanity. Photos that show the beauty of our planet – warning of dire consequences.

An open-air gallery spanning a length of 7 km with approximately 1,500 large-format images in the parks, gardens and squares is transforming the city for the duration of four months once again into a city of photography. With free admission, 31 exhibitions invite visitors on 7 days a week and 24 hours a day to stay a while and enjoy a carefully curated enchanting selection.

EVENTS Ruf since 1939 – Benjamin MONN c/o KRISTINA KORB photographs for a private collector at the RUF headquarters in Pfaffenhausen, Bavaria

28.05.2024 • Founded in 1939, Ruf Automobile is a family-owned car company headquartered in the heart of Bavaria, Germany. The carmaker not only stands for the production of high performance and elegant vehicles, but also for the meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship put into in each and every Ruf automobile that leaves the plant in Pfaffenhausen.

For a private collector, Benjamin MONN c/o KRISTINA KORB photographed the successful model RUF CTR Anniversary at the RUF headquarters in Pfaffenhausen, Bavaria. The CTR made its debut at the 87th Geneva Motor Show. For the first time, the two-seater is based on a carbon-fibre monocoque completely developed by RUF; its type abbreviation CTR is reminiscent of the legendary Yellowbird, the first RUF biturbo coupé that had taken the world of super sports cars by storm thirty years ago.

27.05.2024 • The winner of The Journey to the Center of the Earth’ raffle was drawn on 8 May at Bar Ludvig in Hotel Beethoven with a hand from two charming little fairylike helpers. The hotel is nestled in the heart of Vienna – between the Naschmarkt food market, the Vienna Secession building, the Vienna State Opera and Museumsquartier. It doesn’t get any better than this.

And from the bottom of our hearts, we would like to congratulate the lucky winner: Carina Vinck, Art Director c/o B.M.H Agency, who can now officially look forward to a trip to Vienna. It was all part of the UPDATE booth concept of the Vienna Ambassador of Illustration – and proved to be a visitor magnet at the trade fair.
