Gübelin AG is a Swiss family-owned watch and jewelry company based in Lucerne. It is now managed by the sixth generation in the person of Raphael Gübelin. Gübelin celebrated its 170th anniversary in 2024 with an exclusive watch designed by star architect Santiago Calatrava.
The GÜBELIN X CALATRAVA campaign was photographed by Tobias WIRTH C/O BOSCHTOBANRAP. Santiago Calatrava Valls (* July 28, 1951 in Valencia) is a Spanish-Swiss architect, civil engineer, artist - and longtime friend of the Gübelin family.
The company sells jewelry that it designs and manufactures itself under its own brand Gübelin Jewellery, but also sells luxury products from globally renowned brands. The Lucerne-based company employs over 250 people. Gübelin has boutiques at a total of seven locations in Switzerland and Asia. The Gübelin Ipsomatic watch costs 34,900 Swiss francs.
