Behave ourselves, oppress the fire within, stop crying, don’t act so crazy, be quiet, ignore your urges, don’t display so much public affection, don’t be too wild… I wanted to create a story that rather chose to do the opposite…”
Caroline Mackintosh is a South African artist born and raised in Cape Town. Mackintosh is mostly known for her photography but also writes and performs music, as well as making visuals and films. Caroline started taking pictures at a young age, using her dad’s camera in family expeditions into the African wildlife (Styling : Stefanie Klopf, Make-up artist: Ischrak Nitsckhe, Hairstylist: Susanna Jonas, Photo Assistant: Omar Zaki, Casting: Ananya and Olga, Models: Ayaka Hasegawa, Erna Zuhric, Sena Richard).
