“We are tapping into the power or flowers to counteract the rampant negativity of our day and age with radiant beauty. The 2024 ‘Flowers in the Dark’ collection shows us all a bit of light at the end of this dark tunnel,” says MARCEL OSTERTAG.
In front of his lens for the lookbook shoot, he once again had best ager model Petra van Bremen. “A girlfriend, muse, superwoman, and for me personally, a superstar. Petra inspires me season after season with her timeless beauty. For me, you just can’t put an age on beauty. It is her radiant charisma and the inner glow she exudes – casting a spell on me and my team every time.”
The Fall/Winter collection by MARCEL OSTERTAG is also timeless and sustainable. Values that have shaped the designer’s philosophy since the very beginning – which can be seen in each meticulous detail of his collection. Each piece carefully crafted to last – stylish for more than a season and worn with joy for years. Hallmarks of the collection are its exquisite quality and timeless elegance in direct defiance of the fast-paced fashion world.
Fair production as well as close collaboration with partners who live and breathe ethical standards are essential for the designer. His ethical approach for which goes beyond only production conditions. Materials are just as carefully selected in order to minimize harm to the environment. The objective is to keep the ecological footprint as small as possible without compromising style and quality. Which is why sourcing sustainable materials and eco-friendly processes are an integral part of his collections.
