Inspired by urban landscapes, the Pre-Fall 2023 collection celebrates the lively IRIS VON ARNIM Spirit. MAX VON TREU photographed the Fall 2023 ‘Compelling Cashmere’ campaign (model: Viviane @Kult, styling: Hannah Godde @Nina Klein, H&M: Jo Paschalis). Digital support and post production came from BLINK IMAGING.
In the collection, knitwear stands for the expression of emotions and energy plus the courage to stand out with attractive opposites: Hand-knit oversized pieces meet midi dresses, tailored pants meet soft doubleface. A color palette of warm neutrals like cinnamon and anthracite are combined with bright honey melon and clear white for an eclectic everyday look.
“I don’t follow every trend. My creations are timeless – each piece is made for a lifetime,” is the credo of designer IRIS VON ARNIM, who has been working with finest quality cashmere for 45 years.

About MAX VON TREU
It was at the tender age of six when he was given his first snapshot-camera that Max von Treu, born in Munich in 1979, started showing interest in photography. Things got a little more serious when he got his first proper camera at the age of 17. It was love at first sight and a never ending array of snap shots, taken during early travels around the world. After graduating in Munich, Max decided to move to London to study mixed media arts at the University of Westminster. His main focus was filmmaking at first and it was only after he finished his studies and while assisting various fashion photographers that he discovered his passion for fashion and portrait photography. His professional career as a fashion photographer began when he was 25. Max is currently based in Berlin and Munich shooting for clients around the world.
