LU REN, founded in 2013 by Katie Ji in the Bavarian city of Seefeld, stands for exclusive knitwear made of cashmere and other fine fabrics as well as absolute favorites – timeless in a modern way.
Designer Katie Ji spent her childhood on the Chinese mainland, where the more than thousand-year-old tradition of crafting clothing with cashmere has been lived, breathed and further developed to this day. The Far Eastern philosophy, with its attention to details and perfection, is the foundation of Katie’s diverse activities as the founder and designer of LU REN.
The latest collection was photographed by Dirk BADER c/o AVENGER PHOTOGRAPHERS for the campaign and S/S ‘22 Lookbook.
“In the most favorable case, clothing helps the woman who wears it to feel protected, good, confident as well as naturally beautiful and unique,” is how the designer describes the credo of her creative work. Katie named the brand after her grandmother who was her most important attachment figure throughout her childhood. She taught her to be confident and have faith in being able to make her dreams come true.
The collection is available in the LU REN online shop, in selected fashion stores in Germany, such as Lodenfrey in Munich, as well as in Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy, France and Switzerland.
