30.01.2024 • MEIKE KENN c/o BOSCHTOBANRAP – co-founder of the female photographer collective Herspective – photographed lifestyle motifs for HAKRO, the first corporate apparel supplier with a 100% climate-neutral collection. To do so, the Hello Again closed loop clothing collection banks on recycled textile fiber: casual basics made from sustainable cotton and worn workwear. Classic favorites manufactured with responsibility and fairness in Portugal.

FASHION Romain DUQUESNE c/o BIRD PRODUCTION photographs model Anjali Torvi for PALOMA WOOL in London

24.01.2024 • In the wintery London rain, Romain DUQUESNE c/o BIRD PRODUCTION photographed the new looks for fashion label PALOMA WOOL by the eponymous designer on Indian native and model, Anjali Torvi.

The brand Paloma Wool from Barcelona was founded in 2014 by Paloma Lanna. Lanna is the daughter of Paloma Santaolalla and Miguel Lanna, founders of the Spanish brands Globe and Nice Things in the eighties – and she has an eye for beautiful design.

Paloma Wool built a loyal customer base in no time thanks to her warm Instagram photos full of analog films which indeed feels a bit like a girlfriend’s creative project – even though the fashion brand is taking the world by storm as we speak.

FASHION BLUMARINE Resort ‘24 – photographed by Teresa CIOCIA c/o BIRD PRODUCTION

23.01.2024 • Blumarine, founded by Anna Molinari and her late husband Gianpaolo Tarabini in 1977, is the luxurious core brand, alongside Miss Blumarine, Blugirl Blu Sport and Anna Molinari, of the Blufin S.p.A fashion house, which is family-owned to this day.

Teresa CIOCIA c/o BIRD PRODUCTION photographed the latest BLUMARINE Resort ‘24 collection in the studio.

Walter Chiapponi has been Creative Director of Blumarine since the end of 2023. The designer, who used to be with Tod’s, followed thus in the footsteps of Nicola Brognano. Chiapponi, who will present his first collection for Blumarine during Milan Fashion Week 2024, started his career after graduating from the European Institute of Design in the 90s. A trajectory which has taken him from Alessandro Dell’Aqua, with stops along the way at Givenchy, Valentino, Gucci, and Miu Miu, or even Bottega Veneta, to where he is today.

22.01.2024 • We look forward to welcoming Nicole Hardt at UPDATE once again this year. As Lead Art Director of C&A, she is responsible for the visual presentation of collections. With her team, she seeks out photographers, stylists as well as hair & makeup artists who, with their visual language, define the look of the clothing company.

Last year’s brand campaign for C&A was realized for the first time by photography & directing duo Lauren Ward & Alex Kweskin, aka Ward & Kweskin, from New York and LA. The campaign features a strikingly warm color palette paired with a cinematic look & feel.

Nicole Hardt works as a creative director and designer, specialized in bringing ideas to life – from brand strategy and communication to content creation, or even leading film & photo teams. She’s at the side of companies every step of the process, from the development of an identity to the implementation of communication measures, with a strong focus on preserving the traditional techniques of the handicraft – always combined, of course, with innovative ideas.

FASHION FALCA produces for PUMA x FERRARI with  Creative Director Josh Vides and Photographer Dean Martindale

22.01.2024 • Style meets speed – in the fashion collaboration between PUMA x FERRARI. Since 2004, PUMA has already been the official outfitter of the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team, supplying the Italians with the highest standard of performance racewear, footwear and teamwear.

“From Ferrari PUMA trainers and shoes to t-shirts and track jackets, the partnership between PUMA and the Italian team has everything you need to dominate the track and the streets. …” Puma.

The collection was photographed by Dean Martindale with CD, designer, artist, team player and overachiever Josh Vides from Los Angeles. Production was in the hands of FALCA, Barcelona.
