For the 100th anniversary, BMW Motorrad is launching two of its icons as special models. VICTOR JON GOICO had the pleasure of staging them in stills and moving images in Spain. He was in charge of both photography and directing. The DOP was Julian Holzwarth, and production was taken care of by Studio Goico together with Mamma Team.
BMW: “In 2023, we are celebrating our history with two special edition models: the BMW R 18 100 Years and the BMW R nineT 100 Years. The R nineT with its chrome gas tank and paint-on chrome technology is reminiscent of the R 75/5 from 1969. And the R 18 echoes the design of the R 5 from 1935 with its teardrop gas tank. The two models specially built for enthusiasts are each limited to 1,923 motorcycles.”
Also available are accessories such as the Schwabing jacket in a heritage look, which brings to life an old classic with a new design, as well as the RoadCrafted 100 Years denim jacket which combines a classical look with a high level of safety.
