STUDIO DIRK WEYER : Directing, camera and production for the WEMPE Signature Collection X GIRARD-PERREGAUX campaign

With the Girard-Perregaux Laureato, one of the most coveted watch models of our times has joined the ranks of the Wempe Signature Collection. Italian bellezza paired with Swiss precision – exclusively for Wempe customers and limited worldwide to an edition of 100 timepieces.

Studio DIRK WEYER was not only in charge of directing but was also behind the camera and took care of production. The Marmalade delivered SFX and ensured seamless high-speed motion control with Spike. The client was the renowned Hamburg-based creative agency von Buchholtz.

“My personal choice for myself was a Laureato in the 38mm unisex version with the dazzling copper-tone dial. Particularly the unique contrast between the warm copper color of the dial and the cool gray of the stainless steel bracelet make its design so special. A modern take on the style of the 1970s,” says Kim-Eva Wempe.

The Wempe Signature Collection pays homage to icons of the world of timepieces in collaboration with renowned watchmakers. Based in Hamburg, the family business “has accumulated extensive knowledge about its customers’ expectations, requirements, and wishes,” to craft exclusive, limited-edition watch models – available only in Wempe stores and the online shop.
